Research support services include:
- Identifying sources of funding opportunities for researchers
- Supporting researchers in the development and review of research proposals
- Providing TUS endorsement for research proposals
- Managing and coordinating Research Time Release programme
- Managing and coordinating the internal President’s Doctoral Scholarship programme
- Assisting researchers in identifying research partners both national and international.
Day-to-day support of researchers:
- Liaising with Finance, Postgraduate Office and Technology Transfer
- Advice on pre and post research award and management of same
- Organising researcher training for career development
- Support Research Ethics processes.
Expression of Interest TUS Research Proposal Submission Form
If submitting a research proposal for external funding using TUS as your host organisation you are required to notify the TUS Research Office in advance of submitting your application.
Additional to this, if you require support from the Research Office in the preparation, review and/or submission of your proposal for external grant funding, you are also required to notify the TUS Research Office.

The following timelines for completion of the form are as follows:
- Multi Partner External Grant Funding, TUS as LEAD: 12 weeks (all EU TUS coordinated are encouraged to apply for an EI Horizon Europe Co-ordination Grant which has a timeline of 10 weeks in advance of the call for submission)
- Multi Partner External Grant Funding, TUS as PARTNER: 6 weeks
- Single Applicant / Investigator led External Grant Funding: 4 weeks
