Student Induction – Athlone Campus

You are about to embark on an exciting new chapter in your life, and we hope that the coming days will help you settle into your new environment. Our staff are looking forward to meeting you and will help you make the transition to third level.

While you are coming to college with a view to gaining a qualification that will help you secure employment, remember that it is also about meeting new people and gaining new experiences. This broader education is central to the TUS experience. We encourage you to get involved in clubs and societies and to make use of the many opportunities that will be afforded to you in TUS.

You will really enjoy your time living in Athlone, a new university town, and studying with us here on campus. Know that whatever your academic endeavour, you will receive every support and opportunity throughout your time with us.
We know you can’t wait to begin this journey. Prior to your onsite induction there are a few things you can do to make sure you’re ready to join us on campus.We have prepared a series of videos to help familiarise you with our Student Resources and the technology we use here. We suggest you view this prior to attending your onsite induction. You may wish to share these with parents/guardians/ partners who are bound to be happy to hear about the great supports available to you in TUS. You will find them on our YouTube Channel.
